Yungsuhn Park Initiative Director Contact Yungsuhn Yungsuhn Park joined the Irvine Foundation as a Senior Program Officer in May 2021 and became an Initiative Director in September 2024. Yungsuhn’s background is in civil rights litigation, labor law enforcement and policy, and cultivating public-private partnerships. Her work spans across the nonprofit and government sectors. Prior to joining Irvine, Yungsuhn was Chief Deputy Secretary at the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency where she advised on strategic enforcement, developed new community engagement programs, and guided agency operations. Before the Labor and Workforce Development Agency, Yungsuhn served as Special Assistant to the Labor Commissioner, Adjunct Faculty Member at Loyola Law School, and Senior Staff Attorney at Asian Americans Advancing Justice — Los Angeles. Yungsuhn holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and a J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law.
