Thea Jewel Soriano Communications Associate Contact Thea Jewel Thea Jewel Soriano joined the Irvine Foundation as a Communications Associate in March 2022. Before joining the Foundation, Thea was the co-founder of Amplify at SF State, an advocacy project that aimed to provide a space where San Francisco State University community members who have been impacted by sexual violence can anonymously share their stories. Prior to that, she was a Legislative Intern at the San Francisco Board of Supervisors for former Board President Norman Yee. She created content for Supervisor Yee’s social media channels, helped address constituent inquiries, and drafted the language for legislation, talking points, and newsletters. Thea is a first-generation college student who graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work and Race & Resistance Studies and a minor in Labor Studies.
