Shruti Garg Program Officer Contact Shruti Shruti Garg joined Irvine as a Program Officer in June 2021. She comes with a background as a grantmaker, capacity builder, and consultant. She is committed to fostering effective and dynamic pathways for organizational resiliency and has advised nonprofits in her independent practice and through her work at the Nonprofit Finance Fund. Shruti previously directed Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy’s membership services, as well as managed Open Society Foundations’s grantmaking to immigrant rights, racial justice, and low-wage worker rights organizations. Shruti graduated from Smith College and received her Master of Public Policy from the University of Southern California. She proudly serves on the boards of the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild and New Left Accelerator.
