Cheng Ung Program Officer Contact Cheng Cheng Ung joined the Irvine Foundation as a Program Officer in July 2021. Prior to joining Irvine, Cheng served as a Program Manager at the California Community Foundation supporting CCF’s Education grantmaking strategy by advancing systemic and community-based solutions for a more equitable Los Angeles County. As a part of her work, she managed and supported grantmaking initiatives spanning early childhood, K-12, and postsecondary, including focuses on young men of color, scholarships, basic needs, and college access and success. She also previously served as a member of CCF’s grants management team. Cheng holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Riverside and a master’s in public administration from the University of Southern California. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Cheng is based in Irvine’s Los Angeles office.
