California Community Foundation – 2020

To launch a pooled fund to support local planning and housing solutions, and promote equitable growth strategies across the Southern California region.

Liberty Hill Foundation – 2020

To support five grassroots members of the Los Angeles Community Land Trust Coalition to strengthen and scale community ownership of land and housing strategies in Central, East, and South Los Angeles.

Community Vision Capital & Consulting – 2020

To design and develop a five-year initiative to expand the capacity of small and emergent local nonprofit real estate actors to drive community ownership of community assets.

Housing California – 2020

To advance racial equity for California Roadmap HOME 2030, and to support staff and board training on racial equity.

Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles – 2020

To understand and maximize the potential for infill housing in Los Angeles and improve housing affordability for low-income Angelenos, through an entity such as the Low Rise Infill Housing Research and Design Initiative.

PolicyLink – 2020

To support the advancement of equity and inclusion in the state of California’s COVID-19 economic recovery efforts.

Public Counsel – 2020

To develop and execute community education and legal strategies that increase housing justice in California and support an equitable recovery from COVID-19.

Bay Area Council Foundation – 2020

To support a three-year startup phase and raise awareness and adoption of accessory dwelling units in California, through an entity such as Casita Coalition.
