Program Associate, Arts

Helen Wills was appointed Program Associate for the Arts in June 2007. Prior to joining the Foundation, Helen worked at Headlands Center for the Arts, an international artist residency program in Sausalito, as Development Associate and then as Manager of Donor Relations. During her time at Headlands, Helen facilitated development activities including membership, special events and volunteer programs. Previously, Helen was a docent for the contemporary art collection at the Hess Collection Winery in Napa. Helen has participated in the planning and fundraising for various cultural events, including the Virginia Commonwealth University French Film Festival, the WDCE Independent Radio fundraiser for the International Hospital for Children, and the 1708 Gallery auction. She currently serves on the advisory board for the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery. Helen received dual bachelor’s degrees in French and international studies from the University of Richmond, with a minor in studio art.
