To support the expansion of the rural residency program and arts participation opportunities for communities throughout the North Coast region of California, payable over 36 months.

To support new presentation and audience-engagement opportunities for ODC Theater, payable over 36 months.

California Democracy

Civic Engagement

Latino Center for Prevention & Action in Health & Welfare
To provide opportunities for low-income Santa Ana residents to participate in local public decision making on issues related to land use and public safety, payable over 36 months.

Public Agenda Foundation
To field, analyze and disseminate a statewide survey of California public officials and a statewide survey of California civic leaders regarding the status of community involvement in local public decision making, payable over 9 months.

Governance Reform

California Institute of Technology
To research the effects of California's top-two primary system on voter and legislator behavior and examine voter perceptions of this new electoral system, payable over 20 months.

Strategic Concepts in Organizing and Policy Education
To support public education and outreach regarding state budget and fiscal issues in partnership with other California Calls organizations and through regranting to California Calls member organizations, payable over 24 months.


Linked Learning Policy

California School Boards Foundation
To raise awareness of Linked Learning among California school board members and district leadership teams and provide direct support to facilitate the implementation and expansion of Linked Learning in districts throughout the state, payable over 24 months.

Education Trust
To assure rigor and equity in the scaling up of the Linked Learning approach in California, payable over 24 months.
